Financial literacy fair for creative economy workers

Tax planning, credit reports, credit card debt… these aren’t things that are usually associated with the arts – but New York City is hoping to change that.

Now, New York City’s Financial Empowerment Centers are taking counselors and speakers 0n the road to hold “financial literacy fairs” for workers in the creative economy.

Creative economy workers can also schedule free one-on-one sessions with a financial counselor simply by calling 311, the city’s information hotline.
