2010 MacArthur Fellows Program Recognizes the Arts

The arts are heavily represented among this year’s MacArthur Foundation Fellows.  Recipients include a stone carver, a theatre director, a type designer, a jazz pianist and composer, an installation artist, an author, screenwriter, and producer, a violist, violinist, and music educator, and a sculptor.

Each will receive $500,000 in “no strings attached” support over the next five years.  For more information about the Fellows click here.
