How Nonprofits are Coping

Last week The Washington Post followed up on GuideStar’s recent survey of nonprofit executives that found that “people are giving less frequently and in smaller amounts” than in the past.  The Post interviewed GuideStar’s vice president of research as well as a number of DC-area nonprofit execs, who shared some successful approaches and adaptations to the new funding environment.  Namely, nonprofits are experimenting with new ways of reaching out to and treating donors.
